Welcome to the T-Shirt Generator community! Our mission is to empower creativity and enable everyone to design unique, personalized t-shirts using AI technology. To ensure a safe, respectful, and enjoyable experience for all users, we've established these Community Guidelines.

By using T-Shirt Generator, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, warnings, account suspension, or permanent bans.

What You CAN Do

Purchase t-shirts with designs you love
Support creators by buying through their share links

Report content that violates these guidelines
Suggest improvements to the app
Help us build a better community

✅ Use for Personal or Commercial Purposes

Wear your designs or give them as gifts
Sell t-shirts with your own AI-generated designs
Use designs for your business or brand (as long as you own them)

What You CANNOT Do

🚫 Prohibited Content

Sexual and Adult Content

❌ Pornography or sexually explicit imagery
❌ Nudity or partial nudity
❌ Sexually suggestive content
❌ Sexual services or solicitation
❌ Content depicting minors in inappropriate contexts

Why: We want to maintain a family-friendly platform accessible to users of all ages.

Violence and Harm

❌ Graphic violence, gore, or disturbing imagery
❌ Depictions of death, injury, or suffering
❌ Promotion of self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders
❌ Instructions for dangerous or harmful activities
❌ Weapons with intent to promote violence

Why: We prioritize the safety and well-being of our community.

Hate Speech and Discrimination

❌ Hate speech targeting race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
❌ Discriminatory symbols, slogans, or imagery
❌ Promotion of hate groups or extremist ideologies
❌ Slurs or derogatory language
❌ Content that dehumanizes or degrades individuals or groups

Why: Everyone deserves to feel safe and respected in our community.

Harassment and Bullying

❌ Targeting individuals with harmful, abusive, or threatening content
❌ Doxxing (sharing personal information without consent)
❌ Cyberbullying or intimidation
❌ Impersonation of others
❌ Stalking or unwanted contact

Why: We have zero tolerance for behavior that harms others.

Illegal Content

❌ Promotion of illegal activities (drug use, illegal gambling, etc.)
❌ Content depicting criminal activity
❌ Counterfeit currency or documents
❌ Instructions for illegal acts
❌ Stolen goods or contraband

Why: We comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

Intellectual Property Infringement

❌ Copyrighted characters, logos, or artwork without permission
❌ Trademarked brand names or logos (Nike, Apple, Disney, etc.)
❌ Celebrity likenesses without authorization
❌ Song lyrics, movie quotes, or other protected text (in most cases)
❌ Derivative works that infringe original creators' rights

Why: We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.

Examples of infringement:

Using Marvel or DC superhero characters
Company logos (Starbucks, McDonald's, etc.)
Sports team logos
Famous artwork (Mona Lisa, Starry Night as exact copies)
Cartoon characters (SpongeBob, Mickey Mouse, etc.)

Exceptions:

Parody may be protected, but be cautious and ensure it's clearly transformative
Public domain works (created before 1928 or explicitly in public domain)
Your own original creations inspired by (not copied from) others

Spam and Misleading Content

❌ Spam or repetitive content
❌ Misleading or deceptive designs
❌ Phishing or scam attempts
❌ Fake reviews or testimonials
❌ Manipulation of the commission system

Why: We want authentic, genuine interactions in our community.

Misinformation

❌ False medical or health claims
❌ Dangerous conspiracy theories
❌ Misinformation that could cause harm
❌ Fake news or deliberately misleading information

Why: Misinformation can cause real-world harm.

🚫 Prohibited Behavior

Fraud and Manipulation

❌ Purchasing your own designs to earn commission (self-dealing)
❌ Creating fake accounts to manipulate the system
❌ Artificially inflating view counts or purchase numbers
❌ Collusion with others to fraudulently earn commissions
❌ Chargebacks or payment fraud

Consequences: Immediate account termination, forfeiture of all commissions, and possible legal action.

Abuse of the Platform

❌ Attempting to circumvent safety filters or content moderation
❌ Testing or probing security vulnerabilities
❌ Using automated scripts, bots, or tools
❌ Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or limits
❌ Reverse engineering or decompiling the app
❌ Interfering with other users' experience

Consequences: Account suspension or permanent ban.

Inappropriate Prompts

❌ Entering prompts designed to generate prohibited content
❌ Attempting to "jailbreak" or bypass AI safety filters
❌ Testing limits of content moderation system
❌ Prompts that sexualize minors or promote illegal activity

Consequences: Generation blocked, warning issued, and repeated violations lead to account termination.

Content Moderation

How We Moderate Content

1. Automated Filtering

AI safety checkers automatically block NSFW and inappropriate content
Prompts are screened for prohibited keywords and patterns
Generated images are scanned for policy violations

2. User Reports

Community members can report violating content
All reports reviewed by human moderators within 24 hours
Reporters' identities kept confidential

3. Proactive Review

We may review content to ensure compliance
Trending or popular designs may be manually checked
Random audits to maintain quality standards

What Happens to Violating Content

First Violation (Minor):

Content removed
Warning issued
Account remains active

Second Violation or Serious First Violation:

Content removed
Account suspended (temporary, 7-30 days)
Pending commissions may be forfeited

Third Violation or Severe Violation:

Content removed
Account permanently banned
All commissions forfeited
Legal action possible (for illegal content, fraud, etc.)

Severe Violations (Immediate Ban):

Child exploitation content
Promotion of terrorism or violence
Fraud or theft
Repeated intentional violations after warnings

Reporting Content

How to Report

If you see content that violates these guidelines:

Find the design you want to report
Tap the "⋮" menu or "Report" button
Select a reason:
- Inappropriate/NSFW content
- Copyright infringement
- Hateful/abusive content
- Spam or misleading
- Other (please specify)
Provide details (optional but helpful)
Submit report

What Happens After You Report

We review all reports within 24 hours
If content violates guidelines, it will be removed
The creator may receive a warning or ban
You may receive a notification of the outcome (optional)
Your report is confidential

False Reports

Do not abuse the reporting system
False or malicious reports may result in account action against you
If you're unsure, report anyway—we'd rather review content than miss violations

Blocking Users

You can block any user to improve your experience:

How to Block:

Go to user's profile or design
Tap "⋮" menu
Select "Block User"
Confirm

What Blocking Does:

You won't see their shared designs
They won't see your shared designs
You won't receive notifications from them
They won't be able to interact with your content

Manage Blocked Users:

Settings > Privacy > Blocked Users
View list of blocked users
Unblock if desired

Intellectual Property Guidelines

What You Can Design

✅ Original creations from your imagination
✅ Generic concepts (e.g., "a sunset," "a robot," "flowers")
✅ Public domain works (created before 1928 or explicitly public domain)
✅ Your own copyrighted works (photos, drawings, etc.)
✅ Licensed content (if you have explicit permission from rights holder)

What You CANNOT Design

❌ Copyrighted characters (Marvel, Disney, Anime, etc.)
❌ Trademarked logos (brand names, sports teams, etc.)
❌ Celebrity likenesses (without authorization)
❌ Protected artwork (famous paintings, illustrations, etc.)
❌ Licensed content (without permission)

Gray Areas (Use Caution)

Parody: May be protected under fair use, but:

Must be clearly transformative
Must comment on or critique the original
Risk of legal challenge still exists

Inspiration vs. Copying:

Being inspired by a style is OK
Directly copying or closely imitating is NOT OK
When in doubt, make it more original

Fan Art:

Technically infringement even if not selling
Rights holders may or may not enforce
Use at your own risk

DMCA Process

If your copyright is infringed:

Send a DMCA notice to support@tshirtgen.com
Include:
- Your contact information
- Description of your copyrighted work
- URL or identification of infringing content
- Good faith statement
- Statement under penalty of perjury
- Your signature
We'll review and remove if valid (within 48 hours)

Counter-Notification:
If your content was removed and you believe it wasn't infringing:

Send counter-notice to support@tshirtgen.com
We'll forward to complainant
Content may be restored in 10-14 days if no lawsuit filed

Privacy and Safety

Protecting Your Privacy

Never share personal information in designs or prompts (addresses, phone numbers, etc.)
Don't use real names or identifiable information of others without consent
Be cautious about what you share publicly
Review our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data

Staying Safe

Block users who make you uncomfortable
Report suspicious or harmful content
Don't engage with trolls or harassment
Contact support@tshirtgen.com if you feel unsafe

Children's Safety

Users must be 13+ (16+ in EU)
Never create content depicting minors in inappropriate contexts
Report any content exploiting children immediately
We have zero tolerance for child exploitation

Commission and Sharing Ethics

Fair Practices

✅ Share designs you're proud of
✅ Be honest about your designs
✅ Respect other creators' work
✅ Promote your shares organically

Unfair Practices

❌ Buying your own designs for commission (fraud)
❌ Creating fake accounts to inflate numbers
❌ Spamming share links
❌ Misleading others about designs or pricing
❌ Copying others' successful designs

Remember: Honest earnings are sustainable earnings. Fraud will be caught and punished.

Respect and Kindness

Be Respectful

Treat others as you want to be treated
Celebrate diverse perspectives and styles
Provide constructive, not hurtful, feedback
Assume good intent before jumping to conclusions

Be Kind

Encourage and support fellow creators
Share tips and inspiration
Welcome newcomers to the community
Lead by example

Don't Be

Rude, aggressive, or hostile
Discriminatory or prejudiced
Dismissive of others' creativity
A gatekeeper or elitist

Consequences of Violations

Additional Consequences:

Forfeiture of commissions
Loss of designs and content
Reporting to authorities (for illegal content)
Legal action for damages (fraud, infringement)

Appeals

If you believe your content was removed or account was suspended in error:

Email support@tshirtgen.com with:
- Your account email
- Description of the content or violation
- Explanation of why you believe it was a mistake
- Any supporting evidence
We'll review within 5-7 business days
Decisions are final after appeal review

Note: Appeals for severe violations (illegal content, fraud, child exploitation) will not be considered.

Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines to:

Reflect new features or policies
Address emerging issues
Clarify existing rules
Comply with legal requirements

Notice of Changes:

Updates posted with "Last Updated" date
Significant changes communicated via email or in-app
Continued use constitutes acceptance

Enforcement

Limitations

Monitor all content in real-time
Guarantee perfect accuracy in automated filtering
Prevent all violations before they occur
